Instruction
Stan Breitlow teaches ballroom dance in the Winona
and La Crosse area. The Winona classes are held at Simplicity Yoga
and in the winter through community education usually at the W-K school gym. The La Crosse lessons are held at
Misty's Dance Unlimited from mid fall through mid-spring.

Teaching Style and Philosophy
I feel dance is a non-verbal language that
allows us to communicate with our friends and partners. It is a great way to
build new skills with your partner, meet new friends, network, and socialize is
a safe, healthy, and fun environment. Dance events span generations from
teenagers to nonagenarians; everyone loves the exercise and great music. To
speak this new language we need vocabulary - so we take dance classes.
We
focus of the technical side of the dance and breaking the steps down so you know
what to do, why you are doing it, and when do it. However, while I am all
focusing on these details I never lose sight of the fact that we are all here to have fun.
On-site classes
I will also come to your event to teach your group. We
often help with wedding dance preparations, school functions, and company
parties. I can provide instruction, music, and DJ services as needed for the
